Trophy Truck re-build has begun

April 9, 2017

Since getting back from our 6 week half lap around the East Coast of Aus we have slowly been getting little jobs done!

Fitting in the time to clean, paint, and bolt on arms, diff, front hubs and the steering linkage.

As parts arrive in the mail there have been other exciting additions such as completing the fuel lines and re-building the master cylinder.

With the wet season finally coming to end we are looking forward to cooler days and less sweaty times in the shed. The dry season is almost here with the increase in dragonflies and hawks that appear and will hang around all dry.

We are looking forward to heading down to Finke this year (as spectators) and getting an idea and a feel for the race. Next year we will be hopefully taking our truck down and be competing #Finke18 is our goal!

However it's going to be hard to race without an engine, race seats or race suits! There is still so much to do and it is going to be an exciting 18 months as we complete the re-build and hopefully get Jack some much needed time behind the wheel.
